How Many Tables and Chairs to Order
Start with the guest count and work backward through the tables:
- 60-inch round — seats 8 comfortably (10 if you squeeze). The standard wedding and banquet table. Divide your guest count by 8.
- 48-inch round — seats 6. Better for tighter rooms and smaller groups.
- 8-foot rectangular (30"x8') — seats 8 to 10. The classic banquet table, and also what most people use for buffet lines and head tables.
- 6-foot rectangular (30"x6') — seats 6 to 8. Versatile for both seating and service.

Layout, Linens and Logistics
