How Big a Tent Do You Need?
Tent sizing comes down to how people will be seated and what else has to fit underneath. As a working guide:
- Standing reception / cocktail: roughly 6 square feet per guest.
- Seated at round tables: roughly 12 square feet per guest.
- Seated at long banquet tables: roughly 10 square feet per guest.
- Rows of chairs (ceremony style): roughly 6–8 square feet per guest.
